Cindy Bean, Qualitative Research Consultant for Ladd Research Group, brings to the company over 12 years of market research experience in the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Financial Services industries, in addition to undergraduate and graduate degrees in marketing and business.
Cindy Bean, joined Ladd Research Group as a Qualitative Research Consultant in 2009. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Drexel University and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
Cindy is a dynamic market research professional with over 12 years of market research experience in a variety of global organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, and The Vanguard Group (a leading investment management company). Throughout her career, she has played a large role in shaping brands such as Acuvue Contact Lenses and Tylenol, along with its family of adult and pediatric products; launching numerous pharmaceutical products with a focus on the Women’s Health Care therapeutic area; and successfully creating financial education programs specifically designed for women. Her ability to uncover women’s motivations and apply that to business solutions has made her a sought-after consultant in the field of women’s health.
Cindy’s market research experience includes 12 years of client-side brand and franchise market research management. She has conducted in-depth interviews and focus groups with medical professionals and consumers on topics such as branding, positioning, and message testing; advertising and package testing; patient starter kit and loyalty program development; and usability sessions. Cindy excels at encouraging respondents to reveal deeper motivations in order to glean true insights.
Her client-side experience has given Cindy a solid understanding of business needs. She has an appreciation for all the variables and inherent challenges that come into play in designing and executing projects to meet the objectives and schedules of multiple internal stakeholders. This, combined with her strong research experience in both the product and service industries, allows Cindy to approach each project with a unique, big-picture perspective.
